to Mo's Place in Shelburne Falls!
Hello, I'm Maureen Moore and I live in a small village on the Deerfield River in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts
where I follow my curiousity into a number of interests and endeavors, and invite you to join me and my ginger cat, Rufus.
Twain said a home is not a home without a cat, to which Rufus would agree, but I would add it also needs art
and books, a garden too and visitors. So Mo's Place, home of the Ginger Cat, is also home to . . . well, just
take a look:
One part of my home houses an art
studio where I paint, mostly watercolors, and sketch and doodle too, lots of doodling here; you are invited to visit my studio
and links to my art stores at MosArtStuff
part of my home houses the Booksmyth, which offers book design services for independent local poets and writers needing help transforming a manuscript into an attractive,
print-ready Chapbook or Trade Paperback book. You are invited to review my Design Services and the Booksmyth's Book List.
What else is Mo's Place home to? Well, it is host to
a very pleasant, quiet rental in the "garret" on the second floor, which is fully furnished and equipped to provide
a wonderful get-away for writers, artists and vacationers. You can visit it at a A Room of One's Own in Shelburne Falls.
And, of course, there is also
the Garden. Curious? See for yourself how the Ginger Cat's Garden grows.
